Server Rescue Mode

Boot a small Linux environment from another disk

 

Rescue mode provides the ability to boot a small Linux environment from another

disk so that you can rescue your primary linux VPS or backup files that are present on it.

 

1. Login to your HOSTAFRICA Client Account.

 

 

 Select Services

2. Click on the "Active Tab" of the Server you wish to administer.

 

3. Click on the Recovery Mode option.

 

Enter and re-confirm your "root password".

 

4. Click on "Enable Recovery Mode"

Once recovery mode has finished loading the Green Button will change to Disable Recovery Mode.

Once you have completed your tasks click this option to disable recoery mode.
